Founded in 2010, Wipe Tears Africa (WTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope and transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families in Uganda. The organization was established in response to widespread poverty, illiteracy, and health challenges, including the impact of HIV/AIDS in underserved communities.
Our mission is to empower families of underprivileged children through education, healthcare support, and economic development programs—equipping them with the tools and opportunities to build sustainable futures. Guided by Christian values and a strong commitment to child rights advocacy, we strive to wipe away tears and restore dignity, hope, and opportunity.
Wipe Tears Africa is legally registered with the Government of Uganda (Reg. No: 80020000833456) and is also incorporated in the United States as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 334404025).
