For over a decade, has been transforming lives through education, health support, and economic empowerment in Uganda.
Join Our Mission
Founded in 2010, our journey began with a simple calling: to restore hope where it was lost.
Wipe Tears Africa was founded in response to the devastating effects of poverty, illiteracy, and health crises—including the widespread impact of HIV/AIDS—that have affected communities across Uganda.
What began as a response to suffering has grown into a movement of empowerment, healing, and sustainable change.
Over the years, we have evolved from offering immediate relief to implementing long-term, community-driven solutions. Our work focuses on education, healthcare outreach, child protection, skills development, and the empowerment of women and girls—ensuring that vulnerable populations are not only supported, but equipped to thrive.
We believe lasting transformation happens when communities are strengthened from within. By partnering with local leaders, volunteers, and international supporters, we deliver programs that are culturally grounded, accountable, and impact-focused.
Transparency, integrity, and compassion guide everything we do. Every project is designed with sustainability in mind, ensuring that donor support creates measurable, long-term impact rather than temporary relief.
Together with our partners and sponsors, we are wiping tears—and replacing them with hope
To empower families and vulnerable children through holistic support in education, health, and economic stability, nurturing them to become thriving, contributing members of society.
A future where every African child has the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and purpose.
We serve with love and empathy, seeing the face of hope in every child.
We act with transparency, honesty, and accountability in all we do.
We equip communities with the tools and knowledge to build better futures.
You can sponsor a child who has failed to attend school due to poverty. Your monthly sponsorship of $35 will secure a child's school fees, uniforms, materials, and a daily meal.
