She lost her Father in Dec 2019 and now lives in Manyangwa Village, Central Uganda with her single mother, who works tirelessly, taking on every job she can find to support their small family. Despite her mother’s hard work, life is a daily struggle, and the family often faces challenges in meeting basic needs such as food, school supplies, and healthcare. Karen dreams of continuing her education and building a brighter future, but without support, her opportunities are limited. She is eager to learn, loves school, and hopes one day to make her mother proud by achieving her dream of becoming a Nurse.
