Meet Gideon Gideon is a lively and loving 4-year-old boy living with his mother and older brother in Kalagi Village, Mukono District, Central Uganda. At his young age, Gideon is full of curiosity and deserves a childhood filled with care, learning, and security. In 2022, Gideon’s family was deeply affected when his father left and never returned. With no communication or support since then, Gideon’s mother has been left to raise her children on her own. Although she works tirelessly, her small and irregular income is not enough to meet the family’s daily needs. Providing food, medical care, and early childhood education has become a constant struggle. As a result, Gideon has not been able to fully access early learning opportunities that are so important at his age. Gideon needs support to receive proper nutrition, healthcare, and early education—essentials that will help him grow strong and prepared for the future.
